Data Collection and Usage through Our Services
We consider “personal information” to be data that personally identifies you as an individual, like your name, street address or phone number. KORTX has designed its systems to avoid using, collecting or keeping personal information about people who interact with our technology.
To provide services to our Business Partners, we collect certain non-personal information using various technologies, including cookies as well as non-cookie technologies. The information we collect includes, but is not limited to: your browser type, your IP address, user agent string, information about your operating system, device, or mobile carrier, and the unique identifier assigned to your device. In addition, we collect information about your web browsing and app usage, such as the date and time you visited a Business Partners’ websites or apps, pages of such websites or apps that you visit, the names or types of mobile app that you visit, your location when you accessed the app, and other data such as page visits, ads shown, and ads clicked.
KORTX may also receive non-personal information from other sources; for example, we might receive data from a third party that indicates that in a geographic area, a certain model of car is popular and therefore people located in that general area might be interested in an ad for similar cars. We combine this information with the information we collect directly.
KORTX may use certain health-related information in delivering advertisements. This may include, without limitation, utilization of the following health-related data segments: Men’s Health and Wellness, Women’s Health and Wellness, General Health, Seniors’ Health and Wellness, and Common Ailments and Illnesses.
Use of Non-Personal Information
In order to serve you targeted advertisements, KORTX assembles non-personally identifiable, demographic, behavioral and technical information to create large visitor “clusters.” These clusters represent data that has been aggregated into large anonymous groupings, but that our assembled data suggests may have similar needs or interests. To ensure that the online marketing targeting services provided by KORTX are targeted correctly, Business Partners’ websites place KORTX’s data tags on their sites. These tags are used to match visitor browsing behavior to a cluster profile, in order to serve you an advertisement you may be interested in.
In addition, KORTX may use non-personal information to improve its products and services, in order to optimize your online experience.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
You may be able to configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, erase cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. (Each browser is different, so check the “Help” menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.) Our cookie ‘lifetimes’ do not exceed 2 years, unless it’s an opt-out cookie as described above, and we do not cookie match between different third parties through ads served on GDN/OO inventory.
Please note that if you do not accept cookies, your browser may not be able to receive an opt-out cookie as described above.
