Digital Campaign Specialist

The Digital Campaign Specialist (DCS) is responsible for executing day-to-day digital marketing operations in support of the Account Management team at KORTX. The DCS will report to the Director of Account Management as well as collaborate with the Director of Ad Operations and Director of Strategy as needed to fulfill client responsibilities. Additionally, the DCS will use industry experience and expertise to evaluate existing processes and make recommendations to improve customer experience and the account management team.

 

This includes, but is not limited to, campaign kick-off meetings, launch confirmations, vendor or agency collaboration, screenshots, reporting, campaign insights, and quarterly business reviews. Success in this role will be measured by the DCS’ ability to meet internal and external SLAs as well as accurate, consistent deliverables.

 

There will be two areas of focus for this position: Pod Support and Digital Campaign Management

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of hands-on digital media experience in an agency publisher or platform environment.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and willing to execute consistent engagement.
  • Excellent communications skills – written, verbal and interpersonal – and an ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences globally.
  • Results-driven, agile, change agent with the commitment and confidence to assume a leadership role in an evolving complex environment.
  • Drive initiatives with limited resources and roll-up your sleeves attitude to achieve desired results.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Pod Support

The DCS will work in direct support of KORTX’s Account Management team to assist with daily campaign operations. The DCS will use Jira Support Desk to manage projects assigned by the Account Management team as tickets. Sample functions include:

  • Track pacing/delivery/performance across all accounts and communicate any noticeable pacing/delivery/performance trends to the respective Account Manager
  • Oversee curate deal pacing
  • Provide mid/post campaign insights reports in connection with campaign KPIs
  • Build and communicate Axon insights to the AM team regularly with the desired outcome of increased opportunities to drive a bigger partnership
  • Assist in general client reporting needs
  • Identify & troubleshoot any discrepancies between different reporting systems
  • Build out campaign screenshots for campaigns as requested by the Account Manager
  • Assist in the coordination with 3rd party vendors
  • Proactively team with Account Managers on submitting and following up on Axon Insights+ Reports
  • Provide coverage for the AM team when a team member is out of the office
  • Draw key insights as they pertain to the client’s goals with the ability to identify trends that can lead to incremental revenue
  • Provide guidance, QA, troubleshooting, and client support for tag management as needed
  • Understand and communicate where each tactic falls within the sales funnel
  • Comfortable onboarding new advertisers on the phone, video, and in-market
  • Participate in weekly POD meetings to maintain a working knowledge of all current campaigns and company goals
  • Multi-task and prioritize assigned projects

 

Digital Campaign Management

The DCS will work in direct support of an integrated client as KORTX is currently contracted as the agency’s integrated media planning and buying partner. The DCS will work under the direction of the KORTX Campaign Specialist and collaborate with The KORTX Channel Strategist as needed. The level at which the DCS is involved in client communications and meetings is subject to Campaign Specialist discretion. Sample functions the DCS will manage or assist with:

  • Issue IO’s to selected vendors
  • Setup campaign and advertiser in Google Campaign Manager as per trafficking instructions or IO
  • Push approved media plans to Google Campaign Manager, development of internal traffic sheets for ad attachment and ad tags, collection of digital specs from selected vendors
  • 4th party pixel implementation to track click and impression at ad level.
  • Audit creatives i.e., size, content, dimensions against the account specifics guidelines before uploading to Campaign Manager
  • Work with external vendors and ensure timely trafficking of campaigns on behalf of client
  • Monitor campaign launch and troubleshoot as needed according to insertion orders
  • Maintain proactive communications regarding account status to the client’s program leads
  • Coordinate with vendors to schedule mid and post-campaign reports that align with client expectations set during the campaign kickoff process
  • Collaborate with KORTX’s Analytics & Tag Support team to address marketing tag requests and to update digital dashboards
  • Manage invoice reconciliation process as directed by leadership
