Content Strategist

Berkley, MI · Full-time · Partially Remote


KORTX is looking for a savvy storyteller to align our service offerings with compelling content. The Content Strategist will develop and execute strategies to drive brand awareness and generate leads. Responsibilities will include determining the best format for production (visual, written, audio), copywriting, collaborating with key stakeholders and serving as a KORTX and industry SME both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, project leader who is passionate about storytelling in any medium and demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably B2B in the tech or digital space but not required. 
  • Exceptional copywriting skills are a must. 
  • Strong public speaking skills in both a live and recording environment.
  • Proficient in video and audio production software platforms.
  • Proven experience leading cross-team project collaboration. 
  • Thorough understanding of the digital media ecosystem (specifically programmatic). 
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Must provide examples of past training and development work (copywriting, training modules, etc.).

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Collaborate with KORTX internal marketing to develop comprehensive content plans that align with editorial calendars, sales strategy, and new product offerings.
  • Work independently to plan and produce compelling video, audio and written content in a variety of formats.
    • Lead strategy on innovative and technical content development including written video scripts, product briefs, whitepapers, blog posts, podcast scripts and other assets.  
  • Serve as a company SME for KORTX’s suite of media, technology and professional services.
    • Attend conferences, industry events, and participate in speaking engagements on behalf of the organization. 
  • Consult on SEO and performance analytics to influence future content strategies.
  • Lead meetings with various groups from discovery sessions to content planning, client interviews and thought leadership panels. 
  • Communicate with clients directly to gather feedback on customer service and satisfaction including interviews and written/visual case studies and testimonials. 
  • Develop KORTX Classroom training resources inclusive of content ideation, strategy, production and execution (webinars, whitepapers, etc.).
